MovieBerry makes watching, downloading, burning and searching for movies or TV series easy. So easy that my 4 year old daughter can search for her animated movies and watch a different one every day.
There are various ways to search for movies or TV series, we initially used the advanced search button displayed at the top of the screen, but when we couldn't think of any more, we looked via the year section. This section lists all the movies in their archive starting from 1927 to current date. I have even used this to buy comical birthday presents for friends by finding a classic film for their birth year. Other than the search button and the year field, you could opt for the Genres section which list all the genres (types of movies). Within this section you will find a mind blowing amount of movies/TV series to download.
To give you an idea on the size of the MovieBerry archive, there are 4305 Comedy movies, 2822 Thrillers, 1316 Animations & 1857 Action (at the time of writing this review), but be warned this is only a few. My partner and I spent more time looking and buying than watching the film the first night!
The good thing is that MovieBerry offers an "instant download", enabling us to download a movie by the time we had selected another one. All movies have iPod ready versions which you can buy, I have found this handy for the long journey to work or for the kids in the car! Once you have decided, trust me you won't be able to settle for just one. MovieBerry also offer the ability to burn your movies to a CD or DVD, so you can enjoy watching with all your friends and family. You can have DVDs ready with the latest or oldest classic films. Shame they don't offer printable DVD covers! But we can't have everything I guess ...
The price is another bonus - Movies are $1.50 DVD, $1.00 for iPod format, and TV series are $0.75¢ per episode. You initially top up with $20 but for that you'll get 26 TV series episodes, 20 iPod movies or 13 movies ready for DVD. That is under a £1 a movie !
That's enough of me ranting about this site - try it you won't be disappointed. My wife has now got a movie for us to watch every night, not including the TV series !
