I'm sorry to say that I totally disagree with the current reviews about Movieberry. I have had problems with the first 3 movies I have downloaded.
1) Harry Potter - Half Blood Prince - Movie contained occasional subtitles and station ID across the screen and seemed as though it had been TIVO'd and then spliced together around the advertisements with glitches every 15 minutes or so - very poor form and the movie was cut off just as the credits rolled.
2) Barry Lindon - the aspect ratio was wrong - the movie is too wide, that is, stretched horizontally. i cannot correct this while viewing.
3) Fletch - movie ends at 1 hr 23 minutes - missing a quarter of the movie - I will try and re-download.
Also, the overall video quality is poor for the size of the file. That is, I usually rip dvds into about 1.5 GB and when I observe the quality of Barry Lindon, for ex, it says 1.75 GB but it downloaded into a 2.45 GB file and the quality is about what I would expect with a 700 MB or so file in mp4 format.
Also, I must comment about price. These days, I believe that $2 is a bit high for a 'high quality' DVX movie that is really not such high quality and occupies TWICE the disk space as a 1500KBPS rip to mp4 format from a DVD. Movie rental prices are now approaching $1 with redbox and I don't have to wait for the download.
I have messaged tech support to address these issues but have not heard back from them. I will update you if I am in error.
